SuperMRO appointed Blue Aspirations’ representative in Vietnam for wind energy solutions
On 12 October 2026, SuperMRO representative Nguyen Minh Quang met with Blue Aspirations to discuss and agree on the scope of cooperation for wind energy projects and activities in Vietnam. Under the agreement, SuperMRO will represent Blue Aspirations in Vietnam to introduce and support the rollout of its solutions in the local market.

From offshore data to project decisions
Offshore wind projects depend on reliable information about wind, waves, currents and marine conditions during site assessment, design, investment evaluation and operations. Blue Aspirations develops measurement and marine monitoring systems that turn field data into technical inputs for project assessment and planning. [1][2]
Blue Aspirations’ solution portfolio
The BA-FLS-NX5 is a floating LiDAR buoy for offshore wind resource and metocean measurement. The company describes a dual-LiDAR configuration, with wind, meteorological and hydrological measurement options, and states that the product has achieved OWA Stage 3 certification. It is intended to support preliminary wind resource surveys, design inputs and investment evaluation. [1]
The BA-SUBSEA-NX2 is a seabed-mounted platform measuring waves, currents, tides, temperature and salinity; the company specifies at least 400 days of endurance for its standard configuration. Its customized portfolio also includes offshore turbine corrosion monitoring and structural motion monitoring, capturing indicators such as loads, vibration, noise, temperature, tilt and position. [2][3]
Why it matters in Vietnam
Vietnam’s wind market is moving from project development toward more specialized needs in site measurement, marine environmental data, structural integrity and operational readiness. Monitoring solutions can help owners and consultants understand site conditions, observe changes over time and identify risks for further assessment. Actual value depends on configuration, deployment location, survey duration and project requirements; measurement data does not replace specialist engineering review or design validation.
SuperMRO’s role
As Blue Aspirations’ representative in Vietnam, SuperMRO will act as a point of contact for owners, consultants and project stakeholders; help define requirements, technical scope and suitable applications; and coordinate detailed discussions with Blue Aspirations’ team. The parties expect the cooperation to bring more technology and data capabilities to Vietnam’s wind projects and support safer, more efficient and sustainable development.
